On 2/13/2010, I made a life changing decision......
I decided to get Lasik eye correction surgery done!
It was a breeze operation and now I can see for the first time since I was like 8....but without the constant aid of glasses and contacts!
Here are five things I learned from having Lasik:
-It hurts, don't let anyone tell you it doesn't
-valium and xanex(sp?) totally make people fall all over each other
- I was the star of the show going on in the waiting room.....mom got many pictures
- You don't automatically see clearly after the surgery, no matter what anyone says
-I had no idea my eyes were going to be suctioned out of the socket
I went for my post - op eye exam the next day..... the doctor says I am seeing an easy 20/20.
Though everything is hazy, I can mainly see clearly. I have like 100 billion drops to maintain putting in, but, all and all....it went really well. :)
Big thanks to Mom.......she drove and all that fun stuff.
oh, and I will never look at a blue light the same way again. :-P
It was great and now I am healing and getting back to normal.
One of these days I will get the pictures up for all to see.
Much love....and sight,
<3 Jessica
