Topic: The new president of the USA and how I feel about his views, choices, and other controversial stuff
Ok.... Now for my yearly political review. I can sadly announce that Barack Hussein Obama is now the president of what we know to be the United States.... and to quote a famous line, when we enter US soil... there should be a sign that says... "Welcome to H word. Keep all hands and elbows inside the vehicle at all time, and try not to be horrified." Not only will we eventually lose the battle against same sex marriage, we have lost the battle against abortion taxes... and quite recently, employment. In my own opinion, this man is the devil and our country is going to be a mess if not already. So, I have to be honest, I did not vote, I didn't want to vote for either man, but if I had to choose the lesser evil of the two... it quite definitely would have been McCain. Secretly, I was hoping the Mitt Romney would stay in, but then again, for being a faithful Mormon, he was to human to take the part of such a Sadistic campaigne and such a hated position in America. I will say this, every president we call has haters, so it's always going to be a losing position. The only thing I am glad about is that was don't have to watch another president either lose his hair or watch it go gray from the stress of the job. Obama was prepared, coming into office with no hair whatsoever. No offense to some of you who may like this guy, I totally disapprove of his belief system and the fact that he will just give everyone what they want, regardless of consequence.ugh. I know I didn't vote and I do know that my mom is very disappointed about it but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I am one easily angered by politics and the crap involved, but come on.... now we have a man, that will do more harm than good for our country. Couldn't anyone see past his charm? I totally could. Honestly, I just hope the next four years go by fast and that he doesn't either start a nuclear war, run us into the ground, or let havoc run amuck. And by havoc... I mean terrorists, riots, tax evasion, abortionists, gay and lebian rights activists..... there is a whole load. I do have something to say on the abortion topic......and it comes from the movie JUNO, a growing favorite of mine. "All babies want to get borned... did you know your unborn baby has fingernails?" It's both an interesting fact and it causes Juno to rethink getting an abortion and instead she has the baby and gives it up for adoption. I guess what I am really saying is, you may not know it, but adoption could be a blessing to others. I was adopted and it makes me shutter to think that I could quite possibly not have been here, because my birth mother could have decided to have a hasty abortion instead. So even though I don't know my birth mother, I am really thankful to her because she decided not to have an abortion, and she did the most difficult thing ever, which is giving me up so that I can be in a loving environment, with parents that knew that they were able and ready to raise me. :) It's a happy thought, but the sad thing is, now that it is a "supportion of abortion" attitude, I fear many will much rather turn to tat option instead of adoption, and abstinence will become even more rare, because that option is now readily available.
Anyways, so that is my political shpeal.... Tell me what you think, I would love to hear your thoughts, also if I offended anyone's views I am sorry, I just thought I would post mine up since I was urked by what I saw as Obama's first acts as president were going to be, as I opened up my browser home page this morning. So take this for what it's worth... which is simple that..... an opinion of a conservative but independant Mormon non-voter girl.... just trying to understand today's somewhat unpleasant views and choices of today's world.
-yours for the reading....
