Lately, I have been stuck in the writing department, until rather recently, someone suggested I maybe write a book based on my experiences and view of my family's rather odd situation. I certainly agree. So after thinking a lot about it and how I wanted it to be, I have somewhat been documenting my life through my journals as writing process.... So far so good, I have several book names to choose from also.
Next, I am very excited to say I had one of my most memorable missionary moments yesterday with a good friend of mine. I was amazed that I knew what to say, even with the thoughest questions. Anyways, I thought it was worth sharing.
Then, there is the fact that it is Thanksgiving week. AHHHH! lol. Where did the time go? It seemed like just yesterday I was in college. WOW. So I am excited to get everything ready and going for my dad to come home for a few hours.and I may get to see my grandpa again. It will be crazy! My mom and I joke about my dad's huge wheelchair, and how he may crash it into the china cabinet. He's getting really good at driving it.
Tonight at FHE is "human foosball" .... all I can say is....I'm scared! lol. there are some pretty hefty dudes in my ward, and I don't want all of that on top of me. But knowing me, I probably will hop right in there and play like a pro, just like football.
Adrena Merrell aka Puff, got her mission call to Barcelona Spain! I actually fell over when she called to tell me. That makes missionary #4 that I need to get letters off to. lol. I love it. Anyways, Puff ...congrats and I'm so proud of you!
This last week I decorated my room..... it finally is back to feeling like home..... fourth months later..... it's funny, because now it looks like a 14 year old lives in my room with all the posters and pictures and everything put up. But I like it and it feels.....comfy and inviting, right down to the red camping chair I got for last weeks Bonfire. lol.
I picked up an old friend, that I kind of forced myself to do.... anyone remember Mutes? lol. Didn't think so. I am actually referring to my Cello, which awhile back, I named Mutes. I didn't do half as bad as I thought but now that it is Christmas-ish time.... lol, I signed up to play at a Christmas relief society function, and I think I am going to earn some extra cash and go down to my dad's and play Christmas carols and such for 30 minutes. :) It's nice to get back into the swing of things. The sad thing is I then sat down to play the piano and am getting better and better at that also. so I can officially say I am multi - instrumental. lol, along with the recorder.
Relief Society was awesome this week....... We made this glass block (3) nativity set, with lights in the back, It turned out gorgeous and for only 20$! Caryn totally out did herself on that one and I can't even tell you hoow much time and money went into those.
I moved my computer back to my room also, to give my mom alittle more space in the Library again. She loved it, to say the least, and I found my usb wireless mouse, and now I can be anywhere, and still do what I want. Last night though, I used my amazing new setup to watch nothing other than.... Daria. Well, that and talk to Berke. I like talking to him, once best friends, always best friends.
So yeah, Things are good.... this week is gonna be amazing, fun, and... oh! I almost forgot......
I AM GOING TO TWILIGHT ON THURSDAY WITH MEGAN!!!! I so totally can't wait!
Happy Monday folks!
