So here is the dillio.... so I went to work and yesterday was *err err* not good. My boss wasn't in the best mood. Today, I went in.... and since she is gone for a conference for the rest of the week.... I am all smiles. not to mention I am going to the best of las vegas food festival/ concert with Steph and doing a bachelorette party for a co-worker. Things are looking mighty fine. Man, I can't remember the last time I had to exert so much energy into a job. lol. But hey, I like my co-workers.... and my boss, when she is having good days.
---> Once upon a time, there was this delicious looking blonde who was very popular, bright, and of course, blonde. Someone commented that she was short..... and she replied...."At least I'm not short - 5'2 like the lollipop kids in that OZ movie....." the joke is.... she was 4'11.
This joke made me laugh. It was on the wall in the bathroom at work today. I think it was totally meant for me, since I am the shortest one in the office. ha.
Oh, and I had another call for an interview at a children's clothing store. lol. too late...
My mom had her first activities day with her girls..... she was so thrilled and excited to be doing something so fun. I was excited for her, since it is the first time in a while that I have seen her so excited about a calling. I love my mommy!
Kat comes in like..... 23 days! yay! I totally can't wait!
Oh, in other news, my thumb is like infected or something, I must have hit it or something, because It hurts and is just nasty looking. I just hope it gets better soon! yuck.
Oh, and my co-worker, who is fluent in spanish is teaching my "spanglenese" a combination of spanish, english, and portegese/ chinese. lol. I know. Add that to your Jessicanism dictionary. :P The truth is, I really love work. My kids are awesome, and I love being able to say I have patients! And no matter how hard or rough the day is, I know that at the end of my day, I helped someone in need, and it makes me feel accomplished. :D Tomorrow is my Friday and I am excited to chill and have tons of fun this weekend!
