Rexburg's Glory
An everlasting Tabernacle of beauty,
An untouched Temple of a Forgiving God,
Not available for use by the everyday workaholic
Never to be marked by today's deceitful world
A place,
a haven for the worthy to escape.
Built high on an emerald green hill
Beckoning followers to dwell in it's presence
as if to say,
"I will take away thy sins, and give thee everlasting peace."
Songs of Praise
An eternal song,
Sang in unison,
Prepared reverently,
Defined in silence,
Written in belief,
Practiced for perfection,
to praise the Almighty.
A man of strength,
A woman of compassion,
Blended in harmony,
As if to be,
One voice.
Forever Worshipping God.
I can't do this any more
I can't do this anymore,
I screamed one day
My feet are headed out the door,
I'm going out to play.
I've been stuck in this room
since 5 to 2
It feels like my ultimate tomb
It's giving me the blues.
I can't do this any more
this tango of education
It's too much of a bore
It seems like eternal damnation
Tic toc
another assignment received
Looking at the clock
no escape retreived.
I can't do this any more,
the work is too much to bare
My body hits the floor
but no one seems to care
It's just a school day
but it feels like no one can tell
I can hear everyone say
one more minute until that last bell.
