All about a boy/ school/ family.

Hey everyone~!

Just letting you know an update on how my life is going and what is going on in it! I snagged myself a great boyfriend over the 4 months that I have been home. He is kind and caring, and modest, but a hardworker, and willing to put up with the array of crap that I often spit out on a daily basis. We have been together like 2 months, but we have known each other for 3 and a half months. He is from L.A. which is wicked sweet because you all know how I love Californians. He is 24 and yes, remarkably, he is LDS. He is into Star Trek and currently works on the Strip at the Star Trek Experience. He is a REMARKABLE artist with so much talent I can hardly stand it, because you all know how hard I have tried to develp my drawing and sketch skills over the years, but to no apparent avail. I myself with continue to stick with the three things that hold my talent and skills the most: writing, music, and my photography. Well, anyways, I am totally doing the long distance thing, as I just returned to school for my last semester at BYU-Idaho. I love it here in Rexburg, and I have 5 amazing roommates. They all are 2nd semester freshman and I find that I play the role of mommy alot again, but this time it is enjoyable and fun. I fit right in with the silliness and fun, which is a great blessing in my life.
Yes, the Rexburg temple is now complete and I find myself often on the temple grounds, just to feel the spirit. I am often there after classes before I go home to face the music that is more commonly called homework. ick... I love learning, I just hate time consuming homework. However, I am yet again broadening my horizons by taking a vocal production class, a mission preparation class, just for fun; and a class level 1 piano class. Yes, my singing has taken off... and I continue to grow and evolve into the great writer I am once again desiring to be.
I got the shortest haircut I have ever had in my life this week. Let's just say, my hair got caught in a fan that was on campus and I had to be cut out. Yes, just to let everyone know, I did transfer to the Dollar Tree up in Rexburg. It's a blessing and a curse but I can do it.
Dad is still in St. Joseph's, it's the three year mark in November. He is doing okay, but not really any better than the last 2 years.
Mom is doing okay and is as independant as ever. She still is stubborn and refuses help when she can, just to show she is a fighter. I find myself becoming more like her each day.... but in the good way. She has taught me well, and I am continually trying to amount to the unbelievable type of person that she has evolved in to.
Graduation is just a few short months away..... July 18th. I hope I can do it the justice it deserves.

As for my one piece of unauthorized advice to the world: Charish what you have, Work hard for what you want, and never give in to the voice that says you aren't good enough to achieve your personal best.

And as always, Dream big
